Why does the HK3700 switch off after 8 hours even though it's playing music? It's very annoying having it stop right in the middle of a song. Is there any way to configure it to not do this?

I have a TEAC A-2300SX will this HK3700 work with my real to real?

Asked by: Leo 1
Unfortunately it would not, The Receiver must have a Tape Loop (in and out) or a Pre Out/Main In section. This receiver has neither. The last receiver we made that had this capability was the HK3490, and that has been discontinued for quite a few years.

I am interested in the HK 3700, but I need to know if I can hook up my graphic equalizer to this amp and how that would be done without the old tape monitor connections that we used to use.

Asked by: Frederick
The HK3700 does not have the "main in" and "preamp output" connections required for an equalizer. The HK 3700 has tone controls where you can adjust the treble and bass. This eliminates the need for most equalizers.

can u please suggest the best compatible speakers for this hk 3700 mor hk 3770

Asked by: rajesh25
For both HK3700 and HK 3770, what I can suggest would be the JBL Studio 220 bookshelf speakers as It can receive up to 125W at 8 ohms. The should also be good since they're small and you can place them on a bookshelf so you can enjoy playing music.

The spec sheet says the HK 3700 plays MP3 - WMA - WAV - via USB - but the Manual says it only plays MP3 and WMA? - I can't understand why such a high-quality audio product would be limited to lossy formats via USB? - product killer/dealbreaker
