HKTS 16 is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 142.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent speakers Real home theater sound. Don't be fooled by the size of the speakers. They put out serious sound. The subwoofer emits deep clean bass. I have these paired with a Denon 5.1 receiver and it's more than enough for my medium sized room. Mid and highs are very clear. The center channel is loud and clear. No issue with dialog. Great speakers

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice clean sound with wonderful imaging I bought (2) two sets of these speakers as part of a larger home theater system. I am running them on a Harman-Kardon 1710 S which is a 7.2 system with 100w power channel. Sadly they don't sell a matching Sub Woofer, so I had to get the two systems. I am not disappointed because even at a quarter level the bass rocks my theater. I am also running a pair of JBL Studio 590. But alone on their own they still sound phenomenal!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from excellent sound I bought these speakers just a couple of weeks ago to replace the infinity speakers I had that were stolen when my home was burglarized. I wasn't able to set them up until two days ago, but so far they are the best speakers I've ever owned. Crisp and clear amazing sound.

I ordered this product Online and curious to check it would work in India where the power config is 220v without the need of a converter?

Asked by: JackDesirable
You may need to buy a step down transformer 220V to 110V.

Hi Can this be used with the Denon Avrx540BT... And does the woofer needs to be attached to the receiver or it can be connected via Bluetooth.. I am using it in India so do I need a step down converter for woofer only ?

Asked by: Vinith
If the Denon AVR 540BT is rated between 10-120W per channel at 8 ohms then it would work with the HKTS 16. The sub need to be connected using the LFE cable or an RCA cable . Also, we would advise to purchase the HKTS locally so you don't need to purchase a step down converter for the subwoofer.

I have the AVX Audio Bluetooth Stereo Amplifier in my home. I am wondering if it is compatible with this system as I'm interested in buying it

Asked by: jw77
The HKTS 16 should work with your AVX receiver, but since it is just a stereo receiver, it can only accommodate 2 of the speakers (as the left and right channel) and not the entire set.

Is the system wireless?

Asked by: Drag
No, the HKTS 16 is a wired system made up of passive speakers with a powered subwoofer and requires a receiver in order for it to work.

is there a way to connect my phone to the sound system so I can play music or is it only compatible with tvs and systems such as this?

Asked by: marq b
Hello. The HKTS 16 needs to be connected to a receiver for it to work. If your receiver has an AUXILIARY IN port on it, you can connect your phone to it using a 3.5mm aux cable. If not, you can purchase a Harman/Kardon BTA-10 or an External Bluetooth Adapter and plug it into your receiver so that it'll have Bluetooth capability and your phone can connect to the receiver this way. One other way, which can be a bit complicated, is if you have a Smart TV that has a Bluetooth receiver, you can pair your phone to your TV. You'll have to change the Audio Output of your TV to External Speakers or Audio Out/ HDMI or Audio Out/Optical. Then you'l have to choose your TV as the input source on the receiver so that the audio would come out of the HKTS 16. Should you have further concerns or questions regarding this matter, please feel free to contact us directly by submitting a case request at https://www.harmankardon.com/support-contact.html and the Audio Specialist Team will be more than happy to assist you.

can you use a speaker wire adapter kit? if so, what product is compatible with this speaker system?

Asked by: g8trbait
Hi! The HKTS 16 is designed to be connected using the speaker level input and will work with any of our receivers. But in some instances that you may need to use a speaker wire adapter kit, yes you could use them. For more details about it, we would like to work with you directly to help you with your issue.
