A 802.11n or 802.11ac wireless router with good signal coverage areas (location where the OMNI+ speaker(s) will operate) is required for Wi-Fi connection. If you do not have an dual-band router with 5 GHz network, make sure that UPnP is enabled on your router. \r\n\r\nOur Recommendation:\r\n- Try to only use 802.11/AC - 5GHz Wi-Fi for your OMNI+ speakers, to avoid overcrowding the 2.4 GHz band with many devices. \r\n- Make sure that UPnP is enabled on your router ( for 2.4Ghz WiFi routers ).\r\n- Make sure your router has enough CPU-Power and RAM, as these can handle many devices and have better network speed. \r\n- Try to avoid using legacy devices, since they can make your network slow. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works well I bought this blue tooth adapter to use with my old hk receiver. My initial plan had been to just buy a set of cables (3.5mm to rca) and plug my phone directly into receiver. When this unit went on sale I opted to try this out instead to have freedom of having my phone away from receiver. I'm glad I did. Because the adapt is powered , the signal is louder if I use blue tooth vs plugging the phone directly into the receiver. (Plus i have the added convenience of not having to leave phone near receiver)

I have HK16 and would like to know if I can use this adapt to connect the subwoofer wirelessly? If not, how can I make the subwoofer work wirelessly?

Asked by: SriM
Unfortunately, the Adapt cannot be used to have the subwoofer of the HKTS 16 be wireless. The subwoofer is designed to be connected with a wired connection on the back of an amp or receiver.

I have an Aura Studio 2 & two Onyx Studio 4’s......with the Adapt.....is it possible to use them all together to stream music from say my iPad/iPhone/apple TV? Love the sound of all of them....just would really like to connect them all ...

It's possible to do it.You'll need an Adapt on each speaker, connected to through auxiliary so that you can use the HK Controller app and set the Adapts to play music at the same time.

Hi, I have a Adapt and I would like to know if I can conect 5 speakers Onix mini in the same time

Asked by: Efazzio
Unfortunately, the Adapt cannot be used to connect five Onyx Mini speakers at the same time to play the same music or simulate surround sound.

I own an Aura Studio, I love the sound and the style that it proposes, I am wanting to get a second to use with The Harman Kardon Adapt. So I would get a Stereo result with this setting? Can you help me decide which and how many appliances should I buy?

Hi, just a short question... Can I connect to this wonderful device my two onyx studio 4 speakers or you can recommend any other solution to do this (HK Connect really worst app, so let we just skip this option...sorry it's true) ?

Asked by: Yurii
The Onyx Studio 4 was designed to work with the HK Connect App so it can connect to another Onyx Studio 4. Using the HK Adapt may be possible with two Onyx Studio 4's with a 3.5mm audio splitter to connect to the speakers to the Adapt, though this would involve a lot of wired connections and limitations of the cable connections, such as only as the audio coming out in Mono. I see that you have an existing case with us. We would like to work with you directly and if you have any further questions, please reply to any communications we've made with you.
