Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor product This is a very poor product, the sound is perfect BUT if left alone for 30 minutes or thereabouts, it does not go into standby mode it SHUTS DOWN and you need to then physically approach the speaker and turn it back on so that it will connect to your device and you can start playing music, when i purchased this i was told i could just come home from work select music on my iPhone and it would play, such a misleading thing, it doe snot do this at all

How far away from the speaker can I be with my iPhone?

Hi, Thank you for your question. With Bluetooth connection for this speaker, it should work 10 Meters distance away (if there isn't any interference nearby). However, you can even go further depending on your home, interference, and obstacles in-between the speaker and your phone.

Love the hk aura but is the dual sound feature also available on the aura plus? Aura plus to aura studio ? Or Aura plus to aura plus?

Danny I have an aura studio and go+play. Cant seem to connect via dual sound. Switch bith on and then kept in the Bluetooth selector button on the go+play and sauce button on the aura. They not finding each other?

Hi. Can this speaker be used with an Echo Dot? I have seen from the previous questions that the auto power off feature will turn the speaker off after 40 minutes of inactivity, which would make this speaker unusable with an Echo Dot.&nbsp;

Hi, The auto-power off will occur when there has not been an active audio signal for 15 minutes. This is in accordance with rules set by the EU ( EuP regulations ). If the Echo Dot does not output an audio signal continuously, the Aura will go into standby mode after 15 minutes.

There is the possibility that if the aura studio 2 goes off or sleep after a while, it will be turned on again without going physically to the product.... Or maybe to completely prevent it from turning off????

Hi Thank you for the question The Aura Studio 2 has, 3 power modes: On, Standby and Off While in Standby the speaker can be reactivated by an audio signal from AUX or Bluetooth source. The speaker will automatically switch off after 40 min of inactivity (it waits 10 min. on mode and goes to Standby for 30 min. before switching off) to switch on again when off - Press power button. Just received my HKAS2, finds out that the firmware version is 2821. I'm wondering what is the latest version? I can't find it on your website. If there is any newer firmware, can you send a copy to my email? thx:)

Hi Faya, In your MAC settings, you should set the audio to be external or to be the speaker itself. MAC does not automatically switch to the speaker without you changing the settings.

Hi No, it's not possible to make any changes to the frequencies on the HK Aura Studio 2. However, when streaming music from a mobile device, or device connected by AUX cable, you can use an equalizer app, or software to adjust the bass/treble etc.

I recently received an HKAS2, love it, but for some reason when I'm playing music through an aux cord, it goes into standby mode after a few minutes. Is there any way to prevent this?

Hi When playing through an analog connection ( AUX ), you need to make sure to keep the volume on the source device high enough for a current to go through the cable. When the current is too low, the HK Aura Studio ( and most other speakers with powersaving function ) will not recognize the signal as &quot;active&quot;, and will go Stand-By. We advise to keep the volume on your source device at the maximum, and adjust the audio volume with the buttons on the Aura Studio 2
