Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sounds Great I use these for a 5.1 setup in our master bedroom paired with a Harman Kardon AVR1510. Sound is large with depth, bass, and clarity even at high volumes. Small size is convenient for a bedroom setting but sound is not compromised at all. Great value and performance for the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Don’t expect the world but good buy The speakers are great for 5.0 setup. Subwoofer is weak buts it’s only an 8 inch woofer so wasn’t expecting much. I have a 12 already that I’ll use. I went from high $ towers to these so movies are great music not so much. Again nothing that I wasn’t expecting. Biggest selling point was price. Would rather get rid of subwoofer and save the extra $.

is there a way to connect my phone to the sound system so I can play music or is it only compatible with tvs and systems such as this?

Asked by: marq b
Hello. The HKTS 16 needs to be connected to a receiver for it to work. If your receiver has an AUXILIARY IN port on it, you can connect your phone to it using a 3.5mm aux cable. If not, you can purchase a Harman/Kardon BTA-10 or an External Bluetooth Adapter and plug it into your receiver so that it'll have Bluetooth capability and your phone can connect to the receiver this way. One other way, which can be a bit complicated, is if you have a Smart TV that has a Bluetooth receiver, you can pair your phone to your TV. You'll have to change the Audio Output of your TV to External Speakers or Audio Out/ HDMI or Audio Out/Optical. Then you'l have to choose your TV as the input source on the receiver so that the audio would come out of the HKTS 16. Should you have further concerns or questions regarding this matter, please feel free to contact us directly by submitting a case request at https://www.harmankardon.com/support-contact.html and the Audio Specialist Team will be more than happy to assist you.

Hi I have Pre wiring in my media room for 5.1. I have to mount these speaker in ceiling. Is it possible to mount? If yes what ceiling mount bracket is recommended

Asked by: Manu2109
Yes, it is possible to mount; however, we do not have a recommended ceiling mount bracket. Ceiling mounting would have to be done through a third party or custom mounting system.

Are connection between amplifier and speakers are with copper cable or it can be Bluetooth?

Asked by: RAZCRG
The proper way to connect the HKTS 16 to a receiver or an amplifier is by using speaker wires; we recommend 14 or 16 gauge wires. If you have further questions, feel free to reach out to your local JBL Support team. Thank you!

Hello, Are the HKTS 16 speakers compatible with the Onkyo TX-NR676 7.2 Channel Network A/V Receiver?

Asked by: pipe
The HKTS16 speaker can handle up to 120W of power at 8 ohms. As long as your receiver is rated at 8 ohms and puts out 120 watts per channel or less, it will work fine with these speakers.

Hello, Are the HKTS 16 speakers compatible with the Onkyo TX-NR575 7.2 Channel Network A/V Receiver?

Asked by: apataks
Yes, The HKTS 16 can handle 10 ~ 120 watts at 8 ohms and the Onkyo TX-NR575 sends out 80 watts per channel at 8 ohms. So there should be no problem with the speaker and the receiver setup.
