Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Receiver with a Quirky Remote I have had HK amplifiers/AVRs since the 70's. As happy with the Factory Refurbished HK3770 as I was with the others. Great sound with lots of features and plenty of power at a great price. Nice compact size to fit in tighter spaces. I hope this lasts as long as my other HKs. Due to the different types of source selector buttons on the remote and the way they are allocated to the inputs, getting the different inputs programmed on my Harmony 650 remote was a little tricky and sometimes takes two button pushes to select a desired input. Maybe I will figure it out eventually. Also did not get an Owner's Manual, just a quick start guide with the receiver but I found the Owner's Manual on-line.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Superior Sound I’ve only had the HK3770 for a few days but I’m just so impressed with its performance, had to write a review. Absolutely 5-Star performance and sounds just amazing. Running with a pair of Pioneer towers and Polk Audio sub, has brought an entirely new life to my HiFi. Super powerful amp with virtually zero distortion. Easy set up with intuitive controls. Even though was a factory recertifed unit, looks absolutely brand new. Flawless!

What is the cutoff frequency at the subwoofer output?

Asked by: Oscar Cardenas
There is no set cutoff frequency at the subwoofer output, since the sub output on all of our stereo receivers is full range. You cannot use an LFE input on a powered sub. You must use the standard input and use the crossover on the sub to set the cutoff frequency to your liking.

There is no sound from the speakers and it says SPK NONE STEREO in the display. Have never seen that before and can't remove it or get the sound back. What should we do.

What is harman volume and what does it do ?

Asked by: Papabaer1
With HARMAN Volume you can set your desired volume between low, medium and high. You can listen to your audio without sudden distracting changes such as blasts from ads, and volume variations as you switch between channels on your TV. Other benefits include full sound effects even at low volumes, this means if you are watching movies (DVD, BluRay disc) and HARMAN volume is set to low volume, then the signal is more compressed, than what the other volume levels is. This will allow you to hear natural, consistent sound at low volume level, and not only hearing voice conversation from movies, giving you the same movie experience just with lower volume. What is best for you is a matter of personal preference, so we recommend playing around with the three different levels.
